HELLO AND WELCOME TO KUMI-UCHI GOSHIN JUJITSU

We are an encouraging, family friendly JuJitsu club, being one of only a few martial arts clubs in the area, and the only JuJitsu club in the Fenland and West Norfolk area to have junior and adult classes running at the same time - no need for a babysitter if you all want to train.

All our instructors are CRB checked and the club is child protection registered. Anyone teaching children should have this and we are more than happy to show the certificates if you have any worries.

Junior classes are open to 6 to 16 year olds and seniors of any age. Regardless of age and ability JuJitsu can be adapted to suit all, by our friendly instructors John and Samantha. Both of whom are NVQ AMA approved coaches. John being a Jujitsu competition judge.

There are many styles of Ju Jitsu all with different areas of emphasis such as purely empty-hand fighting; others include a system of unarmed techniques used to deal with an enemy who is armed. Jujitsu, much like Karate and Kung-Fu, is a very general term and is not limited to only one fixed set of Martial Arts techniques. The literal translation of Kumi-Uchi Goshin is "Close Quarter Self Defence" which is a system that includes all of the above and much more.
