JUJITSU BLUE BELT SYLLABUS

Jujitsu Blue Belt Syllabus

The following is list of techniques that have to be learned in order to achieve a Jujitsu Blue Belt Grading (3rd-kyu).

  1. Hip Wheel, (Koshi Guruma)

  2. Escapes From Head Chancery (3)

  3. Escapes From Garrotting (2)

  4. Knife Kata (4)

  5. Scissors And Choke Hold

  6. Corner Throw, (Sumi Gaeshi)

  7. Dropping Version Of A Body Drop (2), (Seio Tia Otoshi)

  8. Front And Rear Scoop, (Mae Sukui, Ura Sukui)

  9. Basic Blocks With Finishes To Left Handed Attacks(10)

  10. Holding And Locking Kata (2)

  11. Demonstrate All Kicks And Punches

Students must have trained for at least three months from being graded to green belt and have completed a minimum of 12 sessions. All techniques must be followed by a different lock, hold down or restraint. Belt Grading takes place within the Dojo at regular intervals at both King's Lynn and Wisbech Clubs.
