Known warmly as the father of Martial Arts in Australia he was a personal disciple of Gogen Yamaguchi.

Alan Ruddock Sensei

6th Dan Aikido

He is the last European teacher alive to have studied in Japan under O'sensei. For several years he lived there attending every morning and evening class and often had private tuition lessons as well.
