The Kings Lynn club will be closed for the May day Bank holiday 3rd May 2010. Fridays Wisbech club is open for those wishing to come along, then back to normal on Monday 10th.

This week Wayne successfully gained his 7th kyu White belt. He completed all sections to a very high standard. His syllabus and randori were both executed with a spirit that proved him a worthy jujitsuka. He also has gained great ground fighting and kumite skills making him a well rounded member of the club.
WELL DONE and CONGRADULATIONS a grade well deserved, keep up these high standards as you progress through your jujitsu career.

Hello every one, I hope all is going well.
There is good news for Sports Jujitsu competitors.

Students with a Sport Jujitsu background can now go on to Great International events.
FILA (IOC)the World Governing Body for wrestling sports now have up and running a Pankration format that is a NO HEAD STRIKE format.
This style is MADE for people with a sport jujitsu history.
It is now possible to attend open International events, European and World Championships, Pankration is also in The Combat Games in China this year.
So you can see what is on offer, Allan Clarkin GB Team Coach is arranging the following dates for Squad Training and team selections.

This is only the first stage in the BIG picture, the future holds more from youth divisions from 12 years to vets up 56 years.
If you want to take the sport to the highest level then please give your support, you will be in the making of history.
As was said this is first stage, with the European Pankration Championship . Gorlice (POL) 24-26 September 2010, MALE and FEMALE Seniors age 20 and older.
They want to take the strongest team possible also have interested athletes wanting to compete in open events, so turning up is important.
The Weight divisions for the Euros are
Male,60k, 65k, 70k, 80k, 90k, 110k Absolute
Female 50k, 55k, 60k, 65k, 75k, Absolute
Pankratiasts aged 18-19 may compete in senior comp upon presentation of a medical consent.
Please let him know if you are coming and approximate numbers the first sessions is very important.

Hi all,
This week saw Steve gain his 4th kyu green belt, he had a long tough grading being put through his paces. He achieved a very high standard and derserved the grade, his technical ability and fighting skills have proved him to be a well rounded jujitsuka. Completing the sylabus, ground and standing kumite along with randori plus many other elements, and then to finish the night we saw team tag fighting then last man standing all of which proved his stamina and warrior spirit which Steve has in abundance.
CONGRATULATION AND WELL DONE!!!!

There is to be a seminar in onSaturday 24th April 2010 with

Sensei's Oren Gorgov and Kube Mizahki From Israel.
Two of the world's leaders in real life practical fighting and are teachers to many special forces around the world.
the seminar will include firearm disarming techniques, knife defense and attack, strangulation using a rope or belt and much more.

Held at Leeds Metropolitan University Carnegie sports center
12 till 4pm
£20 per senior and £10 junior, must have a current licience.
